On October 22-28 this year, a specialist of the State Institution "RSSPMCOG" Karimova L.A. underwent a short-term internship on the topic: "Advances in IVF treatment" at the “Kaplan” multidisciplinary medical center in Rehovot (Israel).

Reference: The "Kaplan" is one of the six leading multidisciplinary medical centers in Israel, which began its work in 1953 and has JCI international accreditation. The “Kaplan” clinic has 535 beds and provides emergency medical care, outpatient and inpatient treatment services, as well as hospitalization of both citizens of the country and tourists who come to Israel for treatment.

The Course is designed to teach and inform the state of the art in the field of Artificial Reproductive Technologies – ART, and In Vitro Fertilization – IVF treatments. During the Course leading experts in the field presented the essence of  IVF as well as case studies, latest developments and research results. Furthermore, a wide range of equipment relevant to the field were presented for participants. The lectures were held in the Department of Artificial Insemination by the most experienced specialists of this multidisciplinary medical center. Lectures on the main topics were given by Dr. Yuval Ohr, who teaches obstetrics and gynecology courses to students of the University of Jerusalem, as well as to foreign specialists preparing to confirm their diploma in Israel.

Besides, participants took part in the laboratory work and received exhaustive answers to all their questions. At the end of the internship, all participants received appropriate certificates of completion of a special course and memorable gifts.
